On May 6, the 2026 SaMoTer (Verona
Construction Machinery Exhibition), one of Europe’s three major construction
machinery exhibitions, opened at the Verona International Exhibition Center. SDLG
showcased multiple models of equipment compliant with EU emission standards and
unveiled new energy products at the event. Thanks to its innovations in
electrification technology, the company won the SaMoTer 2026 Innovation Award
in the wheel loader category, further demonstrating the brand’s technological
strength and influence in the European market.
At this exhibition, SDLG highlighted its
flagship products, including excavators, loaders, and skid-steer loaders,
designed to meet the European market’s demand for high-efficiency, low-emission,
and highly reliable equipment. As European infrastructure construction
continues to recover and environmental policies are constantly upgraded, new
energy and low-noise equipment are attracting increasing attention from
customers.
During the exhibition, SDLG officially
launched the E655HEV new energy model. Liu Shuqiang, Assistant to the General
Manager, joined local dealers, partners, and industry clients to witness the
new product’s entry into the Southern European market. At the event, the
company outlined its Southern European market strategy, product development
philosophy, and localized service strategies, further conveying its confidence
in its long-term commitment to the European market.
To enhance the customer experience, SDLG
set up an interactive equipment experience zone within its exhibition area.
Visitors could examine product craftsmanship up close and, under the guidance
of professionals, experience operating the equipment firsthand to gain a direct
sense of its performance and handling capabilities. On-site staff also provided
explanations regarding equipment configurations, suitable operating conditions,
and maintenance procedures, attracting significant attention from customers and
dealers.
On May 5, at the SaMoTer 2026 Innovation
Awards ceremony held at the Gran Guardia Palace in Verona, SDLG received the
Innovation Award in the wheel loader category. This award was primarily
attributed to the company’s innovative breakthroughs in electric powertrain
technology, which have effectively enhanced equipment operational efficiency
and ease of use. The judging panel noted that SDLG’s innovations in electric
powertrain systems have further improved the user experience for industry
equipment.
This award not only reflects the
international market’s recognition of SDLG’s R&D capabilities in
electrification but also demonstrates the results of the company’s ongoing
efforts to advance localization in the European market.
