For the power battery maintenance of XGMA electric loaders, whether it is for daily use or long-term parking, it is necessary to be meticulous to ensure that the battery performance is long-lasting and stable.
In daily use, please check the battery system status through the instrument panel before each trip to ensure that there is no abnormal alarm. In view of the uncertainty of the driver's working hours, it is recommended to carry out automatic full charging at least once every three days to maintain sufficient battery power.
If the loader needs to be parked for a long period of time, make sure that the battery SOC is not less than 40% before storage, and choose a special safe site for storage. When the vehicle is parked, please tighten the parking brake handle, switch off all electrical switches, including the one-touch start switch and the battery handle switch, and rotate them to the OFF position. During storage, power up and check the vehicle instrumentation at least once a month to ensure there are no power battery related alarms. If the battery SOC drops below 20%, perform a full charge immediately. A full charge is also required every three months to maintain stable battery performance.
When commissioning a vehicle that has been parked for a long period of time, you need to operate accordingly to the power battery system configuration. For early configuration 5.0 and 5.1 system vehicles, battery equalisation maintenance is required to ensure the consistency of the battery pack. For 6.0 and above system vehicles, they are equipped with the function of automatic equalisation at the end of charging, so no additional operation is required. Currently, Xiamen's 7.0 system vehicles do not need to carry out power battery equalisation maintenance, which provides more convenience for your use.
Following the above maintenance recommendations will effectively extend the service life of the power batteries of XGMA electric loaders and enhance your work efficiency and economic benefits.
